Disappointing, Looking towards 2009

The Cubs may have been eliminated tonight, but we'll be back in March presenting even more odd posts, thoughts, and concoctions.

One strength of the Cubs seems to many to be in centerfield. You have an old Jim Edmonds, and a decent Reed Johnson. I'd actually like the Cubs to be stronger up the middle by picking up a new CF, a new SS, and spend their money grabbing a stud RF.

Fukudome will have to be moved, and sent somewhere else. That move alone will make the Cubs a better team.

Like many teams, the Cubs could obviously use another lefty in their rotation.

It'll be fun. Post your thoughts here on what the Cubs should do for 2009. In the meantime, I'll let you guys know that I'll be posting some random thoughts about the Blackhawks during the offseason, as well.

So for Pat DeMarco, Jimmy Leo, Klute the Pool Boy, Mollie, Rick Sutcliffe, and the rest of the Paul Noce family...SO LONG EVERYBODY!
