UFC 132: Carlos Condit Officially Set to Face Dong Hyun Kim
Bleacher Report's Matt Juul reports:
Welterweight contenders Carlos Condit and Dong Hyun Kim are set to meet inside the octagon at UFC 132, officials announced Friday.
Both fighters are riding a wave of success entering this bout. Kim, 14-0-1 overall, is currently on a five fight win streak in the UFC, coming off a decision victory against Nate Diaz at UFC 125.
Condit, 26-5 overall, recently won Knockout of the Night honors at UFC 120, stopping former number one contender Dan Hardy in the first round with a vicious left hook. The former WEC welterweight champion is 11-1 in his last 12 fights.
Analysts speculated that Condit would take the place of an injured Jon Fitch, who was forced to drop out of his rematch with BJ Penn that was set for the July 2nd card.
