New Orleans Saints Draft: Watt could bring extreme value at 24th overall:
New Orleans looks at J.J. Watt and sees exactly what they want: a defensive end with a great work ethic and good athleticism that gets him around the corner and to the quarterback with regularity.
But it's no use to think about drafting Watt at 24th overall. He'll be long gone, expected to be picked as high as ninth overall by the Dallas Cowboys.
Not so fast, says Wes Bunting of National Football Post.
In Bunting's mock draft, Watt falling to New Orleans comes as the result as some other bold predictions (Tyron Smith to Dallas ninth overall, Ryan Mallett to Miami 15th overall, etc.). However, draft day has been known to have surprises in tow.
New Orleans would be ecstatic to see Watt slide that far in the draft. They probably wouldn't even sit around and wait for him if he got past 15th overall. If he's still there, a trade might be in order to move up for him.
