The LSU Tigers head to Gainesville this weekend with fresh legs and a nasty attitude, ready to take on the mighty Gators, led by their superhero quarterback Tim Tebow.

Coach Miles throws mad love to the Gators for their depth and talent.

“Florida is a tremendous team, in my opinion. They don’t have any weaknesses,” he said, adding, “I think they’re as talented a football team as I’ve seen.”

The last time LSU went to The Swamp, the Tigers came home with a disappointing loss.

Although Florida was stung by an onslaught of multiple fourth down conversations called by the Mad Hatter last year in Baton Rouge, that loss is still a bitter taste in the mouths of these Tigers. Just ask Ricky Jean-Francois.

Ricky Jean was quoted as saying that LSU wants to “take out” Tebow—as in, “We’re gonna put some kryptonite on you boy! We’re going to send you to the mission field early boy!”

Francois later clarified his statement to a local Florida newspaper by saying that his statement was misunderstood.

“We never go into any football game trying to hurt a player from the other team. My comments in regard to Florida quarterback Tim Tebow were misinterpreted and were intended to reflect the style of football that we play at LSU.”

Yeah—right.

Too bad players and coaches can't talk smack like they really do when they don't have a mic in front of them.  That would be awesome—great idea for another article?

As I was saying, to make a long story short, when LSU and Florida tip off this epic battle, there’s not going to be any love lost between these two teams.

It should prove to be a fun game to watch—at least for those fans not faint of heart. I might have to TiVo it: My kids can’t stand me yelling, especially when they’re not ready for when a barbaric roar comes out of a dead silence from the living room. “DAD!!! Stop yelling!!!”

As an LSU fan, I do enjoy Les Miles' demeanor in these big league marquee matchups.

“Make no bones about it; this is a fun game to play. You play in the SEC, you play classic matchups, and you better enjoy this one. I can promise you that there will be a lot more energy around our building this week. We’ll look forward to playing well at Florida.”

That’s coach speak for, "We’re coming to town to kick your ???"...well, you know how to finish that.

And just for the record, that's why I love Miles over Saban.

Just had a thought.  Miles would make a great WWF wrestler if he were bigger.  He would lay down the smack and bring it all night long.

That would be "must-see TV."
