After a season that exceeded most Chicago White Sox fans' expectations, the team will have to take a long look in the mirror to figure out how to get back to the World Series.
After a few mid-season moves, General Manager Kenny Williams will have to address several positions and long term contracts to reshape this team.
With the apparent departure of free agents Orlando Cabrera, Joe Crede, and Ken Griffey Jr., plus the long term contracts of Paul Konerko, Jim Thome, and Jermaine Dye, Williams has his purse strings tied pretty tight.
He will need to address the needs for a second baseman, third baseman, center fielder and lead off hitter. Free agents Chone Figgins of the Angels and Orlando Hudson of the Diamondbacks could possibly fill a few of their needs.
I think this offseason will be very busy for Kenny to give Ozzie the team with speed he has been looking for since the World Series year of 2005
