B/R Top25 Utah Comments Week Seven

Another Mountain West team that has gone undefeated thus far, against the likes of Michigan, Air Force and an Oregon State team that upset then number 1 USC last week. The Utes are the real deal and if it wasn't for BYU and TCU, they would be a lock for BCS buster this year.
Joe Bleacher No. 8
The Utes should definitely be undefeated entering their final showdown against BYU! This year, the Holy War rivalry game could be one of the most intriguing match-ups of the year...even IF it doesn't end on a last-second score!

I was at the Utah vs Oregon St game and they showed a lot of heart coming back to beat Oregon St scoring 11 points in less than 2 min. QB Brian Johnson will have to play better if they are going to get to Nov. 22 against BYU undefeated.
Michael Collins No. 11
Aaron Barton No. 12
Trey Bradley No. 12
Dodges a huge bullet last Thursday. Not sure there's anyone left to beat them, save BYU.
William Blake No. 12
Make it three unfortunate souls in a row. They can all compete in BCS conferences, and it is unfair for them to not get a shot at the title game.

Utah proved that they can win even in dire situations, as they were trailing 28-20 with 2 minutes left and won 31-28 over Oregon State, the same OSU that had beaten No. 1 USC the Thursday before.
Tim Pollock No. 13
Peter R No. 13
Can such a small state really produce two high quality teams?
Dave Nemetz No. 13
So if they knock off BYU, do they climb into the Top Ten. Yeah, probably...
Joe Barton No. 13
Despite some of the "experts" bailing on Utah in favor of the bandwago Oregon State, the Utes manage to edge out the Beavers for a win with a field goal. Brian Johnson is leading this great offense to a great showdown with BYU.
Toby Parker No. 13
That Oregon State game was good, I'm really glad I have Versus...

Like BYU, the Utes are trying on their magic slippers and they must have picked a pair of kicking shoes because they needed a last minute field goal to beat the Beavers of Oregon State, coming off an epic upset of USC. Barring an upset, the Utes should cruise to a Nov. 22nd showdown with BYU.
GeorgiaDawg No. 14
Ron Johnson No. 14
The Utes are here to stay. Utah will be there through the entire dogfight. BYU will be stuck looking in their rearview mirror until someone knocks Utah off their mark.

May not have the same National Championship dreams as BYU, but will have every opportunity to beat them.

Utah neither climbs nor falls, after escaping the upset-minded Beavers of Oregon State

Back to back unimpressive outings leave the Utes right were they were two weeks ago while those around them are on the move.

Another team looking to for a BCS bowl game. Have to play BYU still and the winner should be BCS bound.

6-0, great job for the UTES, but do not look past the Cowboys of Wyoming, any team other than BYU, TCU, and Utah in the Mountain West are itching to pick off one of the big 3!
Michael Cline No. 16
tom scurlock No. 17

Another Mountain West team! We will see who survives until the end of the season. Utah seems to be the weakest non-BCS team still ranked.
