B/R Top25 Texas Tech Comments Week Seven
Robbie Munroe No. 5
Yes, the Red Raiders make my top 5 this week. Texas Tech has outscored opponents 241-92 this season. It's hard to call it a fluke after they put up 58 against conference opponent Kansas State. This team is out for blood.

Their offense finally clicked, and their pass defense is still better than Missouri and Texas. Graham Harrell Is just as good as any QB in the Big 12, and Crabtree is to Jeremy Maclin what Ren is to Stimpy.
Peter R No. 6
Solid and impressive. Next week they beat up on Nebraska.
Jason Hackney No. 6
Texas Tech rounds out the complete dominance the Big 12 has right now in the top 10. Offense looks explosive as ever, but yet to have a real tough challenge.

It's silly putting all these Big12 South teams in the top 10... Sooner or later, they're going to end up knocking each other off. But watching them on the field, they really are head-and-shoulders better than any Big Ten, Big East, or ACC team.

Graham Harrell is still one of the best QBs in the land. 38-51, 453 yards, 6 TDs, and he broke the all-time school record for passing yards. Wow.

A dominating win over Kansas State earns Tech the spot at number 7.
Toby Parker No. 7
I thought the K State game looked like a trap game for the Red Raiders. They didn't let up one bit.

Harrell and the boys put on a clinic in Manhattan. Nebraska is next for Homecoming.

Great offense, defense is questionable

The Red Raiders offense? Graham Harrell to Michael Crabtree. Whether its a fade route, a post, or short slants, they are gonna find each other.
Emmett Corboy No. 7

Decisive Victory
Jonny S. No. 7
Their offense is better than Missouri's...their defense is worse though.
Matthew Smith No. 7
Ron Johnson No. 8
The Red Raiders made quick work of Kansas State, but as always, they haven't been tested. But they got the Cornhuskers coming up. This should knock them down a peg or two.
Michael Shibley No. 8
Dodged what many thought could have been an upset last week.
Mosang Miles No. 8
Nick Martin No. 8
Tim Pollock No. 8
Archie Adams No. 8
I don't envy the Red Raiders, they get two more easy wins then Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma St., and Oklahoma, in that order on back to back to back to back weeks.
Dan Alexandre No. 8
Dave Nemetz No. 8
These guys are highly likely to go down once Big XII play heats up, so it's hard to rank them too high. If they survive, they'll move up.
Joe Barton No. 8
Who needs a defense when you have Graham Harrell and Michael Crabtree? Despite giving up 3 TDs vs. Kansas State (the other TD was a punt block), the Red Raiders' passing attack managed to blow out KSU.
Bryan Gonzalez No. 8
I'd love to see this team do well but I don't know how the defense will fare as the Big 12 schedule is upon them.
Andy Walsh No. 8
Red Raiders have looked great on offense. Need to keep it up if they want to be a big boy in the Big 12.

The biggest pretender of the top ten. We will soon be saying so long to the Red Raiders, but let them enjoy themselves for now. Their schedule is going to get brutal in a couple of weeks and the only thing they have going for them is that Missouri isn't on it. 4 weeks: @Kansas, Texas, OK State, @Oklahoma...
Kevin Buller No. 10
Every team playing Tech should have taken one thing away from the Red-Raiders win at Kansas State, do not let your defense blitz! If you bring your defense up on Harrell he will throw quick passes at leisure and secure the win. Poor Nebraska getting Missouri and Tech in back-to-back weeks
Jeff Lovely No. 10
Every year Texas Tech rolls up incredible numbers against the Eastern Washingtons and the Nevadas of the world and every year the Red Raiders fall to the big boys of the Big 12. This year will be no different. Until history repeats itself, they get to smell the Top 10.
dave uranga No. 10
exciting team

This team looks a lot like Missouri on paper: tons of offense, but a lackluster defense. The high-octane offense should produce at least one big win...but probably not enough to win the Big XII South.

Fun & Gun was a Spurrier special in the Swamp. Teams are learning to adjust, but still can't hold them in place. The Red Raiders are playing good football, but the worst is yet to come. They have Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma State, and Oklahoma in a row. Texas Tech will drop one or more in this stretch.
