Missouri won in Lincoln for the first time in a long time, and very impressively. Their first real test of the season is finally here. Beating OSU is not going to be a given. This offensive shoot-out is intriguing and may come down to the wire

The Tigers have the most explosive offense in the land. They rolled over Nebraska, avoiding the trap game and breaking the 30 winless streak in Lincoln. They have so many weapons to hurt you in so many different ways.
College Football Fanatic No. 2
They didn't just beat Nebraska, they steamrolled them. This might be the best Missouri team to ever hit the field.

Only team that deserves this spot at this time
Peter R No. 2
Thier dismanteling of Nebraska was impressive. They could have scored more if whiney Daniels had been left in.
Andrew Kajfasz No. 2
Missouri proved themselves a team to be reckoned with after a huge, and easy, win over Nebraska.
Justin Potts No. 2
Kevin Paul No. 2
The road doesn't get any easier with Oklahoma State next, and Texas on deck.
Jonny S. No. 2
I am putting them this high based on Alabama's performance last week. I am not sold on the Tigers because they gave up 42 points to Illinois...They will have 1 probably 2 losses by the end, for now, number 2.

Robert Kelly No. 2
The pasting of Nebraska in a hostile environment moves them into the second place position this week.
Ron Johnson No. 3
Chase Daniel is proving that this is their time to shine. A win over Oklahoma will improve their chances to get into that elusive BCS Championship.

Michael Shibley No. 3
I can't even put up points like this on NCAA 09!
Joe Bleacher No. 3
Although Mizzou's defense is more suspect than any other title contender's, Chase Daniels and the Tiger offense have been even more productive than Oklahoma...and against arguably better opponents.

Chase Daniels just ahs to beat Oklahoma to score a Heisman and a national championship.
Owen Munro No. 3
Shawn Withrow No. 3

I wouldn't miss their game against Oklahoma St. for anything. Between the two, they have scored 50+ points in eight of their first ten games. They may combine for 150 this game.
Dan Alexandre No. 3
David Epstein No. 3
Dave Nemetz No. 3
Chase Daniels is also the real deal.
Jason Hackney No. 3
A close call between Oklahoma and these guys. Missouri needs to sure up it's defense to stay in the top five.

Wow, we all now Missouri had an excellent offensive attack, but they took it to another level last week when they destroyed Nebraska. Missouri may have a problem when the face the better secondaries of the Big 12, but right now they look very good.
Jaws of Defeat No. 3
William Blake No. 3
Chase Daniel to Jeremy Maclin. Get used to it. You might hear it as much as Graham Harrell to Michael Crabtree. The high-powered offense is going to dominate the Big 12, like last year.

Chase Daniel is making a believer out of me as he continues his heisman campaign. Will he lead his Tigers to a win over Oklahoma State?
Jeff Lovely No. 4
The Tigers appear to be an offensive juggernaunt, having only punted 5 times all season. Not only did they win in Lincoln for the first time in 30 years, they destroyed the Cornhuskers. Time will tell if this offense can continue to impress against a top ranked defense.
Jason Perkins No. 4
Might deserve a higher ranking, but number 4 doesn't suck. If the Tigers keep it up, they will overtake those other Tigers pretty quickly.
Clark Nelson No. 4
Scott Glesner No. 4
Brian Murphy No. 4
Trey Bradley No. 4
How amazing is the statistic that Chase Daniel hasn't been held to a 3nOut yet this season. However, this is my upset pick of the week. OSU takes the Tigers down.

Good win at Nebraska sets up a big October for Mizzou.
James Corley No. 4
Missouri gets no points for beating a struggling Nebraska team.
Isaac Elyacharshuster No. 4

A very impressive win at Nebraska last week. Can the Tiger D hold up against the monster that is Big 12 football?
Bill Wilson No. 4
Possible Heisman trophy winner and one of the best teams in the country.
Colin Flosi No. 4
They have the stud QB in Chase Daniel, and the Playmaker in Jeremy Maclin... BUT, they have not shown they have the defense that can stop OU, UT, TTU. Luckily for them, they only face one of those three during the regular season. They need to make a statement on defense against Okie State this week.
12 No. 4
Looking more like a No. 1 team week to week
Jeremiah Coggins No. 4
I'm going to stay away from the bandwagon on this one. The Tigers have played some very good football, but only one ranked. In fact, they really haven't played anybody, and I suspect them to drop one or both to Oklahoma State and Texas.
Emmett Corboy No. 4
Andy Walsh No. 4
Always good to dominate your rival. Nice that the defense finally showed up too.
Dan Murphy No. 4
Took care of the Huskers

Nick Martin No. 5
Jeffrey McDaniel No. 5
Aleksey Dubrovensky No. 5
Call this a temporary ceiling until they beat a legit Top 20 team in their conference. Chase Daniels and Jeremy Maclin look unstoppable, but wins against Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas would make them national title-worthy.
Landon Hulet No. 5
Will Shelton No. 5
Even at No. 5 in early October, they control their own destiny for the National Championship.
Alexander Featherstone No. 6
