Jason Hackney No. 1

The Tide continue to roll in a tough SEC conference. As long as they remain unbeaten, they will remain No. 1 on my list.

Dave Nemetz No. 1

They beat the pre-season number one and are undefeated...so, yeah, they should be number one.

Isaac Elyacharshuster No. 1

Chad Haynie No. 1

Alabama avoided a let down last week and slipped by Kentucky. I had them at No. 1 last week and see no reason to move them this week. If Oklahoma has a big win over Texas, that may change though.

Aleksey Dubrovensky No. 1

Tide rolled over Kentucky... only to get a scare. But they held on against a ferocious and determined team in the late stages of a tough trap game, which is what good teams do.

Andy Walsh No. 1

Tough game, but Tide pulls out gritty win.

William Blake No. 1

Alabama beat a good Kentucky team; barely. Kentucky was hungry and really could've won that game. With this win, the toughest game remaining is probably the Auburn Tigers.

Ryan Williams No. 1

Jason Perkins No. 2

6 and 0 in the SEC, they stay at number 2 for another week, barely.

Clark Nelson No. 2

Ron Johnson No. 2

The Tide keeps surprising people. Now that Nick Saban has gotten what he wanted out of the dynasty formerly known as Alabama, should Les Miles and Urban Meyer start worrying? I would say so. But not until the two battle it out this weekend.

Michael Shibley No. 2

Maybe a bit of a hangover from last week...but if they keep giving up points in the second half, someone might come up and bite them!

Brian Murphy No. 2

Alex Farrer No. 2

Jesse Monday No. 2

The Tide seems to be rolling over everyone that stands in the way this season.

Owen Munro No. 2

Sloan McCrary No. 2

Shawn Withrow No. 2

Michael No. 2

Tim Pollock No. 2

Archie Adams No. 2

They can't keep squeezing by if they want to stay number 2, but they don't have another true test until LSU Nov. 8th.

Dan Alexandre No. 2

Toby Parker No. 2

I have Bama and LSU neck and neck, and Bama's SEC win is a little better than LSU's. But it really doesn't matter who is 2nd or 3rd in early October. If these two are still undefeated the winner of the game on November 8th will be the only thing that matters.

David Epstein No. 2

Jordan Basenback No. 2

James Corley No. 2

No need to upset an already accurate top-5.

Bryan Gonzalez No. 2

Escaped a close trap game with Kentucky 17-14.

Eric Lawhead No. 2

Dan Boss No. 2

Colin Flosi No. 2

They have the best wins of the season, yet are not as dominant as they would seem. John Parker Wilson is not an elite quarterback, and that will hurt Alabama later in the season.

Bill Wilson No. 2

Had a tough game but pulled though. Still have a tough schedule in the SEC.

Justin S. No. 2

12 No. 2

Had an off week against Kentucky, but give the Wildcats credit for a stubborn defense

Jeremiah Coggins No. 2

The win versus Kentucky wasn't pretty I agree, but a win i
