2011 NFL Mock Draft: Will the New England Patriots Trade out of No.33?
The Patriots Could Likely Get Good Value for Pick No. 33
The New England Patriots sit in a nice spot for day two of the 2011 NFL Draft.
Pick No. 33 has gained value since the NFL went to the three day-draft system, as teams now have a night to dissect their boards in detail.
And if we know the Patriots, they'll likely find a trade partner to take the that pick.
However, the Patriots do have some options at 33 if they decide to stay there.
Passing rushing OLB Brooks Reed might top their list. New England failed to get a pass-rusher in round one, and Reed is among the best still available.
Da'Quan Bowers and Justin Houston might also be options. Bowers has fallen because of worries with his knee but is an impact player when healthy. Houston has value as a 3-4 rush linebacker but failed drug tests have dropped his value.
