NFL Draft 2011: Could Colin Kaepernick's Arm Lead the Way to Tennessee?
NFL Draft 2011 Could be a Chance for Kaepernick to Throw in With the Titans
Going back to Coiln Kaepernick, the reason why I think most teams were worried about bringing him in was the fact that most people saw him as nothing more than a mobile quarterback and not a guy that could have much success through the air.
They were wrong.
According to CBS Sports Titans RapidReports Kaepernick has an outstanding arm.
“’I think a lot of teams didn’t realize how good my arm was till they worked me out,’ Nevada QB Colin Kaepernick told Titans RapidReports. ‘A lot of coaches have told me during workouts, ‘Wow, you can really cut it loose.'’ Kaepernick had the best velocity (59 mph) at the combine.”
If he were to end up in Tennessee I think that he and running back Chris Johnson would have an incredible time giving teams fits or at least that’s what he told the Titans RapidReports.
“Nevada QB Colin Kaepernick on the possibility of being in the same backfield with Chris Johnson: ‘That would be amazing. Some of the things he does on the field you look at and are just like, ‘Wow, I can’t believe he did that.’ He certainly takes pressure off a quarterback.’”
