Denver Broncos Select Patrick Peterson to Replace Champ Bailey
Marcell Dareus is still on the board for the Denver Broncos, who are switching back to a 4-3 defense under new head coach, John Fox, but they can't pass on the best player available, Patrick Peterson.
Although the Broncos currently have Champ Bailey, one of the best cornerbacks in the league, as well as a promising young corner in Perrish Cox, Peterson will have a great chance to succeed in Denver.
At Louisiana State, Peterson recorded 135 tackles and seven interceptions in his three years, despite having little opportunity to make plays, as opposing teams avoided passing his way.
Learning under Champ Bailey could assist Peterson in becoming one of the league's elite corners.
