The Charlotte Bobcats Hope Harrison Barnes Falls Their Way
It's possible the Charlotte Bobcats could have a higher pick, but since we don't know what the draft order will look like we're sticking to just the records. In my mock draft I have Harrison Barnes falling to the Bobcats.
He hasn't declared for the draft yet, but so many people think he is a lock for a lottery pick. Therefore, I say he does leave early. Heck, if Marvin Williams can be a top pick without starting at UNC, then Barnes can definitely be a lottery pick.
Barnes will stay in his college state and play for the great Michael Jordan. Some view him as a top five pick, but his size is a concern to me. Other teams will look to add the bigger and stronger players to boost their roster.
Harrison Barnes is only 6'8" 210 pounds. That size can fly at the collegiate level, but he is going to need to add weight in the NBA. He is a great shooter, as well as a solid defender. However, he lacks the killer instinct, plus he played against weak ACC opponents all season long.
Barnes will be a great addition to Charlotte since they traded away Gerald Wallace.
