2011 NFL Mock Draft: Tennessee Titans Nab Blaine Gabbert with 8th Pick

The Tennessee Titans would have to be extremely happy if Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert falls to them at the 8th pick.

Like the Carolina Panthers, the Titans begin 2011 with an overhauled coaching staff looking to find their quarterback of the future. Kerry Collins is in the twilight of his career and Rusty Smith is likely no better than a career backup, so quarterback is a top priority position of need.

A five-star recruit who originally committed to Nebraska, Gabbert has all the physical and mental tools to be a Pro Bowler for years to come in the NFL.

Playing in Missouri's spread offense hasn't done Gabbert any favors in the eyes of scouts, but at the 8th pick, the Titans would be thrilled to have their QB of the future.
