Alexis Serna Misses Again, Worrying Blue Bombers Fans

After another game with misses from Alexis Serna, Bombers fans are wondering when enough will be enough for Doug Berry and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Serna currently sits at last place in the CFL for kicking percentages, at a sad 60.5 percent.

Bombers fans were finally through with Serna after he missed three field goals in their game against the Edmonton Eskimos on Sept. 26. Though Serna has not missed from anything inside 30 yards, this Bombers team is currently a struggling one that needs a kicker who has the ability to kick from far out if they are unable to make a first down.

Serna, it seems, just can't come through.

The Bombers have reported that the names of Troy Westwood and Duncan O'Mahony have come to mind. Westwood, a Bombers veteran kicker, was released in the offseason by the organization. O'Mahony was released after injuring his toe after being signed by the Bombers.

However, the Bombers do have another option. Warren Kean has been signed by the Bombers to the practice roster for over two weeks now, and he is definitely an option.

I think it will be interesting to see what the Bombers organization does about this situation.
