Rays Move on to the ALCS

To add to our miracle season of firsts, we have officially advanced to the ALCS. In a game where we lead out of the gate because of two B.J. Upton homers, we get to pop the champagne and head home to prepare for Games One and Two at the Trop.

What we know about the ALCS: We will face our division rivals, the Red Sox. We have home-field advantage. This will be huge since they can't beat us in front of our home crowds, and we can't beat them in Boston.

This will be a tough series. If we can prevail, we should do well in the World Series. I look for the Rays to take the series in seven games, three brawls, and eight ejections.

Let the brawl highlights begin, as ESPN will be covering this like crazy. Be ready to watch the first meeting between the Rays crowd, Coco Crisp, and James Shields. This series could get ugly.
