Inside the Playbook: USC 44, Oregon 10
Thanks to tipsters who may or may not have originated from this page, we have obtained exclusive copy of Nick Allotti’s defensive plans for the USC game. Despite the seeming brilliance that lies from such a gameplan, the Ducks fell a little short.
In order to avoid copyright issues, we have created our own renditions of these defensive schemes and will let you be the judge if this was the proper way to stop the Trojans in their tracks.
First down strategy seems pretty basic, second down strategy unique, third down strategy revolutionary. We’ll have to see if the brilliant Oregon Duck secondary (ranked No. 1 by Phil Steele) will be able to utilize these schemes effectively in future games. Work in progress, methinks.
