Fried chicken and waffles.

That's a perfect combination.

Like peanut butter and jelly, cookie dough and ice cream, beer and peanuts.

But Boston Red Sox field reporter Heid Watney is not a fan.

Watney admitted she was "a little nervous to try this," while on-the-air covering a Red Sox vs. Indians game.

The former beauty pageant queen and Miss California contestant may be easy on the eyes and can talk sports all day—but she has one mortal flaw...

She doesn't like stadium food!

After taking a bite at the fried chicken and waffle sandwich, Watney couldn't even pretend to like the food that she was sampling.

When asked if she liked it, Watney responded with a very unenthusiastic, "It's alright!"

You have to hand it to her though, she kept on chugging.

She went on to sample fried cookie dough from a plate that also included a fried Twinkie and funnel fries.

How did Heidi like the fried samplers?

"Too sweet," she said.

Alright Heidi, stick to covering sports and forget about food sampling as a career.

Someone please take her to the salad bar.
