Week Seven College Football Picks

Illinois vs. Minnesota

Take Minnesota at +11.5

Minnesota is 5-1 with their only loss coming at Ohio State, in which they lost the game 34-21. Although they are playing in Illinois, I think Minnesota will keep it closer than 11 points. The fewest points the Illini have allowed this year was 17, and that was against UL-Lafayette.

Utah vs. Wyoming

Take Utah at -21

Wyoming is horrible—at 2-4 the only wins they have come from Ohio and North Dakota State. Bowling Green beat them 45-16. Although I think Utah is overrated, they will beat Wyoming by more than 21 in Wyoming. Utah beat Utah State 58-10 in Utah State, and Wyoming might be just a little bit better than Utah State, but not much.

Ohio State vs. Purdue

Take Purdue at +17.5

This is a risky pick, but I think Purdue will play hard against Ohio State. They lost to Penn State 20-6, which was the fewest points Penn State scored all year. Ohio State will want to score some style points this weekend, but they will not win by more than 17. The game is at Ohio State.
