2011 NFL Mock Draft Results in Much Needed Defensive Help for Arizona

2011 NFL Mock Draft No. 5 Pick: Von Miller, OLB, Texas A&M

With both Cam Newton and Blaine Gabbert off the board, the Cardinals will look to fulfill one of their other needs on the roster.   Arizona was atrocious on both sides of the ball last season and could use a premier pass rusher as much as they need a new quarterback.

Luckily for them, the draft’s top linebacker prospect Von Miller is available.  Miller brings a level of speed an explosion that was absent from their aging outside linebackers Charles Haggan and Joey Porter last year.

Miller is a guy that can become an immediate contributor to their front seven.  With his intensity and his nose for the football, he has potential to make an impact right away.
