Strikeforce Diaz vs Daley: Internet Predicts Keith Jardine Losing Consciousness

Andrew MahlmannCorrespondent IApril 6, 2011

Out of 115 online MMA fans, 75 percent predict the outcome of the Gegard Mousasi vs Keith Jardine fight to be Mousasi victorious by way of "KO/TKO" (time of writing, April 6, 2011, 5 p.m. ET).

According to this poll here.

The next closest on this poll was Mousasi winning by way of submission, with a tally of just over 11 percent.

This may not be a scientific study, but those numbers speak pretty loudly.

Out of six possible outcomes, three quarters of fight fans say Mousasi wins this by knockout.

That is like playing Russian roulette with a six-shooter and being 75 percent certain that the first shot is going to have the bullet.

Well, maybe it is not exactly like that, but it is still a pretty strong prognostication.

Jardine is a man who some say has a "suspect chin," yet he has also defeated two former UFC champions in the stand-up game.

His resume is also stacked with veterans and top competition.

The people, however, have spoken.

Expect Jardine to have an uphill battle against Mousasi's strikes, in the war to stay conscious.
