Brock Lesnar vs. JDS: TUF 13 on Spike TV—Keon Caldwell, We Hardly Ye
Well, the mildest “scandal” in the history of The Ultimate Fighter comes to a close and not a moment too soon. Keon Caldwell officially calls it curtains before he’s even asked to fight; it would appear that dos Santos isn’t quite as good at rallying the troops as the UFC CEO.
This sort of thing just kills me.
I’ve gotta believe the UFC had more applicants than spots in the house, which means Caldwell’s presence came at the expense of another worthy and eager competitor (oops, White informs the audience a new fighter will replace him). Additionally, as JDS and DW pointed out, a successful run on the show and afterward would be the BEST THING for Keon’s family.
So with all that as motivation to try at a minimum—not win the contract, not win a couple fights, just TRY—he can’t muster the effort or resolve?
Makes you wonder how Caldwell ever made it this far.
Regardless, I think that’s probably the last we’ve seen of the Black Assassin.
