There are obvious parallels between MMA and WWE, but there are clear differences as well.
MMA fighters will argue that WWE wrestlers lack the toughness and skill to be true athletes. Meanwhile, WWE wrestlers will argue that MMA fighters lack the flair and charisma to be successful entertainers.
Who's right? We don't really care.
The only debate we truly care about is: Who has the hotter ladies? Here's a good sample size, and by the end, only one group of hotties will be left in the ring: MMA or WWE?
Carina Damm is a Brazilian MMA fighter who has been named "Barbie Girl" by the Brazilian media.
She currently has a record of 15-6, so she's not just a pretty face. Something tells me she hears her last name a lot as she walks by groups of guys.
Gail is the Grover Cleveland of the WWE, having two separate stints from 2002-04 and 2009-present.
She's famous for winning the Women's Championship in her WWE debut. But just like all rookies who start off on top, it can only go downhill from there.
Luckily, we're there to watch her the whole way down.
Kim Couture is the ex-wife of famous MMA fighter Randy Couture. I'm pretty sure they settled the property claims by fighting to the death in a ring of fire.
Victoria (real name Lisa Marie Varon) ended her run with the WWE in 2009 and switched over to TNA.
She now wrestles under the name Tara, but no matter what she calls herself, there's no denying that she's hot.
Don't be fooled by the wholesome appearance and her "Baby Doll" nickname. Elena Reid will knock you out.
She made the crossover from boxing to MMA, so she doesn't care which ring you want to fight in.
Stacy Keibler used her fame as a WWE Diva to earn a spot on Dancing with the Stars, where she won the hearts of America and finished third.
I know she got my votes.
She got married and currently goes by Zoila Gurgel, but we'll stick with the name that made her famous.
She's definitely a hottie, and her nickname "Warrior Princess" reminds us of Xena, which makes her even hotter.
Trish was named WWE "Diva of the Decade," so we certainly had to include her on this list.
Vince McMahon, being the marketing genius that he is, once scripted an affair between himself and Trish into the storyline.
The sacrifices he has to make...
Kerry Vera is a fighter known for winning a reality TV show called Fight Girls on Oxygen. Since then, she's gone on to a prolific career.
She's also known for being married to fellow fighter Brandon Vera.
Ashley is a former Hawaiian Tropic model that was in the WWE until 2008. She also participated in the match with the greatest name in wrestling history: The Playboy Bunnymania Lumberjill Match.
I've never seen it, but I'm going to find it right now.
Kyra is part of the famous Gracie family that helped put MMA on the map in the first UFCs. She seems to be following in her family's footsteps, as she is already incredibly accomplished.
It may be surprising from looking at her male family members, but Kyra is also one of the hottest MMA fighters out there.
She definitely has the total package.
Also known as the GoDaddy.com girl, Candice Michelle achieved great things as a WWE Diva.
She won the Diva Search in 2004 and eventually became WWE Champion in 2007. She was released from her contract in 2009, but she's still one of the hottest WWE Divas of all time.
Felice Herrig is clearly an accomplished fighter. She didn't get those belts at Sears.
She also has that cute, girl next door type of vibe, which makes it that much more surprising when she destroys her opponents in the ring.
Her nickname is "Lil' Bulldog", but I don't really see much similarity.
Signed by the WWE in 2006, Layla has the distinction of being the final WWE Women's Champion since she had the title when it was retired in 2010.
Layla is a dancer by trade and danced for the Miami Heat before LeBron took his talents to South Beach.
Erin is an MMA fighter who dabbled in boxing until she realized it wasn't allowing her to inflict enough damage.
She may have a more muscular look than we're used to, but she is definitely hot.
Tate is currently the Freestyle Cage Fighting Women's Bantamweight Champion. Not sure what that means, but it's got to be good, right?
Miesha got her start by wrestling on the boys team in high school. Must have been difficult for the boys to concentrate while they were rolling around on the mat with her.
Sable started back when the WWE was the WWF and was a trail blazer for Divas to come.
She made headlines when she entered the ring covered in some strategically-placed handprints.
I'm not sure how she fights with those... obstructions... in her way, but apparently Latasha Marzolla has figured out a way around them.
She's also managed to take lots of pictures with no shirt on. Not sure where that fits into the training regimen, but I suggest more of it.
Jillian Hall is a WWE Diva who is known for her awful singing voice. We'll let her sing all day long as long as we get to look at her.
Waterson has a dual career as an MMA fighter and a bikini model. When a little girl wonders what she wants to be when she grows up, I'm not sure those two are ever mentioned in combination.
But Michelle sure does a great job at both.
Lita exploded onto the WWE scene in 2000 and immediately made a name for herself. On top of being sexy, she was actually good at wrestling and performed moves never seen before by female wrestlers.
She sadly called it a career in 2007, which may have been a result of embarrassment suffered from an episode of coitus interruptus.
Carano is definitely the No. 1 seed for MMA, and big reason why I made this list in the first place.
How a woman who gets hit in the face for a living can remain so good looking boggles my mind, but bless her for it.
Torrie is another legendary WWE Diva who needs no introduction and has won numerous accolades and championships.
Most notably, she won the Golden Thong Award in 2002. At least she'll always have something to brag to the grandkids about.
As commendable as it is that these MMA fighters have been able to maintain their sexiness while getting pounded in the ring, they just can't compete with the WWE Divas in terms of sexiness.
If it were a matter of talent, we'd have to go with MMA, but, since we're judging who is hotter, it's hard to argue against the girls of the WWE.
That being said, I'd let any girl on this list pin me any time she wanted.
