It took four games and two appearances for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim to realize how much Fernando Rodney sucks out loud.

After a series against the Kansas City Royals in which Rodney allowed four walks and two runs in 1.1 IP, the Angels have relieved Rodney of his closer duties and have given the role to 23-year-old Jordan Walden.

The 6'5" Walden wasted no time adjusting to the role as he closed out the Angels’ 5-3 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday. Walden is a must pick-up in all fantasy formats.

In a cup of coffee with the Angels last season, Walden K’d 23 in just 15.1 IP. He has a funky delivery and throws gas. That’s usually a lethal combination for any pitcher.

He will get his save chances with the Angels and will be a solid No. 2 closer for your fantasy team moving forward.
