Following Wrestlemania 27 and Monday Night Raw in Atlanta, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson flew to the west coast and was featured on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
The Rock kicked off the interview, talking about making history the night before in Atlanta, making a big announcement.
"Monday Night Raw, from Atlanta, Georgia, millions of people watching. I made the announcement that at next years Wrestlemania, Wrestlemania 28, the peoples wrestlemania, in my hometown of Miami, Florida. The main event is going to be John Cena, versus The Peoples Champion, The Rock.
Leno asked him why he was coming back, and he responded:
"I wanted to do something special for the fans, and it came down to doing something special for them. I've been very close over the years to Vince McMahon and we wanted to create something historic. What is historic and what is special for the fans, The Rock coming back and kicking #@! all over the place."
"I have a ring down in Florida, and I have a ring out here (LA), and I am always constantly training. Wrestling is difficult because of the timing of it. Running the ropes, and making sure you are always on point, the falls and the suplexes."
Leno then asked him to do the "eyebrow lift", which was quickly corrected by The Rock, as "the peoples eyebrow," which he complied looking directly into the camera.
Rock talked about Team Bring It and said, "when you wake up, and your feet hit floor, the good lord says good morning, and the devil says, oh @#$%, they're up."
Touching into his personal life a bit, The Rock was asked about when the last time he cried was.
He talked about the big black truck he owns, known as "The Black Gorilla", was torn up one day by his garage door, saying he cried when that happened.
The Rock also talks about his new movie Fast Five, where his character, Luke Hobbs, specializing in hunting men down, dead or alive.
Wrestlemania 28 is a year away, April 1, 2012 to be exact. This marks the first time a match has ever been created a year in advance. The fact that it is at Wrestlemania, even makes it more special.
