At the moment Tottenham are down 1-0 against Real Madrid, having lost Peter Crouch - their target man - to a stupid, clumsy, boneheaded challenge on Marcelo.

Real Madrid are passing around for fun, looking similar (well nearly) to Barcelona against Arsenal.

Without their six foot seven target man to aim for, someone else needs to be 'that guy' for Spurs. With Lennon injured before the game, and van der Vaart not the same without Crouch, Spurs need Gareth Bale to step up, and show just how good he is. Even if it's just being fouled in good positions!

Will he do it? Or will he be taken off injured? It's difficult to say right now.

It's looking about 50/50 that Real Madrid will score again before the half.
