Seattle Seahawks NFL Draft Hub 2011—featuring rumors, news, and some reasonably serious analysis.
It’s Monday night, and once again I plan to tackle Seattle late. (P.S. pretend that link isn’t dated November 2007.)
We’re 24 days away from the draft’s opening round, and thus far we’ve learned that Jake Locker to the Seahawks is far from a given, general manager John Schneider intends to target linemen, and your draft correspondent (that’s me) is convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that Seattle is the pre-eminent suitor for Kevin Kolb.
“Thus far,” prepare to be outscooped.
This week, we’ll profile Kolb and some of the top guys on Seattle’s board, read between the lines as prospects begin to take their visits (Mallett and Locker are both coming to town this week), all while reassessing Seattle’s prospects for the upcoming season.
If you were with us last week, you know the drill.
If not, the drill is to bookmark us, because this thread updates four times a day, every day of the week.*
It’s the Seahawks draft hub, week two—the most exciting thing to hit Seattle since the Grey’s Anatomy musical episode.
More to come soon.
(*subject only to schedule and/or the Seahawks finally responding to my scout team application.)
(Hello hello! New Seahawks draft hub starting every Monday (and/or Wednesday if your correspondent's been tardy) from now until April 28th. This one is staying up, but we're now updating here: Seattle Seahawks Draft Hub—Week Three.)
