Jim Ross expected to be calling some matches for WWE WrestleMania 27

Few things in the world of pro wrestling have been more perplexing than Jim Ross’ absence from the WWE announce table. On the night of WrestleMania 27, with Raw’s two announcers already scheduled in a match it begs the question:

What will JR be doing?

This report was filed exclusively to Wrestlezone.com in regards to J.R’s status.

Wrestlezone writes:

WrestleZone has learned exclusively that Good Ol' JR, Jim Ross is "100 percent confirmed" on the script for tomorrow's WWE Wrestlemania XXVII.

A key insider who has seen the script for the show informed us "JR's name has been on the script since at least Thursday's draft of the show."

Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler are not expected to be part of the announce team for the event, but both Josh Matthews and Booker T are expected to join JR in the announce position during the show.

It is not known yet if WWE Chairman Vince McMahon will elect to have JR call the entire event, or just selected main events.

This is good news for WWE fans as we are closer to having Jim Ross call the action tonight. I won’t be upset if they allow Booker T and Josh Matthews to call some of the earlier action,  but when the big matches begin you have to have your best, especially at WrestleMania.

If I had to have Ross call one match it would be the Undertakers, just because he did an phenomenal job at it the last two years.

If you had to have J.R call just one match tonight, what would it be?

Hopefully we’ll be lucky enough to have him call it all night, but I doubt that will be the case. Either way, we’ll be happy to see him when he gets there.
