2011 Masters Golf: Power Ranking the Top Contenders' WAGs

It is no secret that golfer's have beautiful wives and girlfriends.

Heck, part of the fun of the international team competitions is seeing the wives all dressed alike, showing their national pride.

And part of the fun of each tournament is seeing the embrace the winner has with his significant other after the tournament.

But this is Masters week, the greatest week of the year.

So instead of ranking the contenders by their game or skills, I am doing things a little differently.

I am ranking players based on their wives and girlfriends. 

15. Steve Stricker

Steve Stricker is one of the nicest guys on tour.

Whoever said there is no crying in sports, never told that to Stricker. After all, Stricker cries after every victory.

I would cry to if I was as lucky as Stricker, who will admit that his beautiful wife Nicki is his foundation. 

14. Paul Casey

Paul Casey's wife, Jocelyn Hefner, is a cousin of the Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. 

Jocelyn made headlines during the Ryder Cup when she jumped onto the course to give Casey a hug after he hit a hole in one.

"She knows who pays the bills," Casey told the press after.

13. Matt Kuchar

Matt Kuchar is not the only athlete in the family.

His wife, Sybi, is an avid tennis player. In fact, the duo have even entered tennis tournaments together, realizing that they love competing with each other.

I guess the couple that plays together, stays together.

12. Tiger Woods

This is relationship is merely speculation. It has not been confirmed that Woods is actually dating the 22-year-old Alyse Lahti Johnston.

That being said Johnston is still attractive and Woods is still an elite player, so he easily makes the list. 

11. Nick Watney

Nick Watney has just recently established himself as a world class player with his victory at the Cadillac Championship at Doral.

And the pictures with his wife, Amber, after the victory?

Well, those established Amber as one of the best looking wives on tour.

10. Louis Oosthuizen

When Louis Oosthuizen broke onto the golfing scene last year at the British Open, people were shocked at the difficulty of pronouncing his name.

When his wife, Nel-Mare, walked onto the green after Louis sealed his victory, in her black riding boots, all the men watching were shocked by her looks.

9. Bubba Watson

Bubba Watson's wife, Angie, is a world-class athlete. 

She played basketball at the University of Georgia, where she met Bubba. And although injuries derailed her dreams of playing in the WNBA, Angie stayed involved in the game. 

On top of the that, the 6-foot-4 beauty is also a stellar golfer. 

8. Rickie Fowler

For Alexandra Browne, golf is in her blood. The daughter of golfer Olin Browne, Alexandra is currently dating Rickie Fowler, one of the best young golfer's in the game. 

And considering most of the outfits Rickie wears on tour, Alexandra is quite the catch.

7. Dustin Johnson

Are they or aren't they?

That is the question most golf fans ask of Dustin Johnson and Natalie Gulbis. It has been reported that they are dating but a confirmation by both sides has not surfaced yet. 

Either way, one can dream. 

And although a small piece of my heart would break if Natalie was off the market, Johnson deserves a beautiful girl after all of his struggles of last season.

6. Lee Westwood

Lee Westwood met his wife,  Laurae, at a golf tournament in 1995. 

When she married and settled down with Lee, Laurae gave up her job as a beautician. That really should not hurt her though since she is already beautiful enough.

5. Hunter Mahan

Everyone loves the Dallas Cowboy's cheerleaders. They are American Icons.

Hunter Mahan, however, is lucky enough to be married to one. 

That is like the best of all worlds. Kandi is blond, hot, AND a cheerleader. 

If there is a better combination, I could not imagine what it would be.

4. Jim Furyk

If there is a mismatched couple in golf it is Jim and Tabitha Furyk.

Tabitha is gorgeous. Jim is, well, not.

Considered one of the most beautiful wives on tour, Tabitha is always a fan favorite.

3. Phil Mickelson

Probably one of the nicest wives on tour, Mickelson's wife Amy is a fan favorite.

America fell in love with her during her cancer battle, and their admiration remains.

After all, Amy is attractive and nice. That does not occur very often.

2. Luke Donald

There is one reason I like to see Luke Donald win tournaments.

That reason is to see his wife, Diane Antonopoulos, come up and hug him.

1. Martin Kaymer

Martin Kaymer is the world's number one player.

As such, it is only fitting that Kaymer has the hottest girlfriend on tour.

And if I were choosing winners by wives and girlfriends only, Kaymer would be the winner. Come to think of it, I am picking Kaymer to win regardless.
