Alright, ladies and gentlemen...the main event is back! Yes, hockey season has started, and there will be some phenomenal goals, great passes, funny bloopers, earth-rattling hits, blood, controversy, and, of course, some fights!

But the real entertainment is the soap opera drama that Darcy Tucker and Sean Avery seem to bring us every year. The battle on the ice will resume Oct. 18 at 2 p.m. in Dallas, but the "War of the Words" has begun already, with Avery referring to Tucker as the biggest donkey in the league...what that means exactly is beyond me. It's definitely not a compliment.

I haven't heard if Tucker has retaliated with words, but we know that when the puck drops it'll be pandemonium all over again. My money is on Tucker; he gets those crazy eyes when he is fighting...and a big smile. It scares me to think he is enjoying himself that much during a fight!

Avery, on the other hand, he's got the mouth but cant really back it up, as he isn't really the greatest fighter. Either way, it'll be fun to watch! Let's hope they keep it somewhat clean, though I'd love to see Darcy try to carve Avery's eyes out with the blade of his stick again! Now that was good TV!

It's just my opinion, but this is one of the league's best man-on-man rivalries for sure!
