EliteXC is a joke. Ken Shamrock is a joke. And Kim Slice is a joke. His record goes something like this: Beats a fat, out of shape former UFC fighter who had no business being in the ring. Beats a fat, out of shape former boxer who had no business being in the ring. Beats a no name British fighter who had no business being the ring. Very impressive.
Don't get me wrong, Slice's youtube videos were highly entertaining. I like the white guy in the background who always tries to act tough (and black). And the competition was always top notch. Really. No, I'm serious. I think the youtube matchups went something like this:
White guy: "Kim, my dad's here for the fight".
Kim: "Cool. I hope he enjoys the show".
White guy: "No, he's not here to watch. He's the guy you're fighting".
So, here we are on the eve of Slice vs. Shamrock. Wow. Way to go EliteXC in bringing the fans what they want. This whole operation is a joke. Does anyone really think that EliteXC or Affliction can compete with the UFC? Spoiler alert: The answer is NO.
So, here's my pick for the winner in this weekend's EliteXC broadcast: DANA WHITE.
