Well for all you Cubs fans who thought this is the year, you were wrong just like the last 100 years. I also know there were quite a few fans who were hoping for a Chicago World Series, HA HA wrong again.
Both of the Chicago teams are not looking so hot in the playoffs this year. The Cubs who had the best record in the NL are down two games to none to a Dodgers team that was a huge question going into the all-star break. Actually they thought that the D-Backs had it wrapped up until the Dodgers picked up Manny and just started playing Dodger baseball.
Then you have the White Sox who have showed how to let a rookie beat you on his own with two HR and a SB in his first playoff game, EVER! So if they keep it up and the Cubs do then the World Series will not be any where near the city of Chicago.
Although there is that small chance that the Cubs pull it off then they have to go and play the Phillies team who is just looking unbeatable. So for all you Cubs fans, MAYBE NEXT YEAR.
