Fiesta Bowl CEO John Junker has been fired from his post.

Let me say, it is for a very good reason: He and other bowl officials were caught funneling money to take Arizona state officials to strip clubs.

The excuse that Junker uses for his indiscretion is worth the price of admission. For one day, the latest scandal in college football does not pertain to a player or coach—it involves high-ranking personnel at a very important bowl.
