Kim Kardashian, Maria Sharapova: Which WAGs Will Get Hitched First?
There have been tons of rumors circulating that Kim Kardashian may be getting engaged to her boyfriend, New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries.
Kim recently sent out a tweet calling Humphries her "future husband" but quickly said that Humphries had stolen her phone and sent out the tweet as a joke. We're all smart enough to know that could just be a smokescreen to avoid a media blitz.
So how likely is Kim to get married? For that matter, which WAGs have the best chance of actually tying the knot with their athlete boyfriend?
I've laid down the odds and will be taking bets immediately. Here they are, ranked from least likely to most likely to get married.
15. Kristin Cavallari
The former MTV reality star has been dating Bears QB Jay Cutler for a while now, but I don't really see this one going all the way towards marriage.
Cavallari seems to be looking to get back in the spotlight by dating the first semi-famous athlete she could find.
Plus, we all know that when the going gets tough, Jay Cutler quits.

14. Evelyn Lozada
It's good to see that Chad Ochocinco finally found love after his reality dating show, The Ultimate Catch. Unfortunately, he's engaged to Evelyn Lozada, who wasn't even a contestant on the dating show.
She actually appeared on entirely different reality show, Basketball Wives—even though she was never actually married to a basketball player.
Don't worry, it gets better. Ochocinco and Lozada are currently in talks for a reality show of their own that will provide a glimpse into their lives leading up to marriage.
Needless to say that couples who star in reality shows don't exactly have a fantastic track record and, since they each will have starred in two, I'm not giving this one much hope.

13. Jessie James
When I heard that Reggie Bush was dating Jessie James, I immediately thought, "how could Reggie do that to Sandra Bullock?"
After a quick Google search I realized that Bush isn't dating this guy. Reggie's Jessie James is actually a country singer who toured with the Jonas Brothers in 2009. We never saw her wearing a promise ring after the tour, so I don't think Reggie has anything to worry about.
The big elephant (or big rear-end) in the room is, of course, Kim Kardashian. How can you follow up one of the most infamous WAGs of all time?
The answer is: You don't. That's why I don't give this relationship much of a chance of survival.

12. Candice Crawford
Crawford, a former Miss Missouri, is engaged to high-profile Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.
Tony and America's Team have fallen on some tough times recently, so a marriage may be just the thing to put some spice back in his life.
That being said, the shadow of Tony's ex, Jessica Simpson, has to be constantly looming over their relationship. Plus, a marriage to Candice means that Tony will have to hang out with her brother, Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford.
Nothing worse than the little brother being dragged along with you to a nice dinner.

11. Cameron Diaz
Alex Rodriguez apparently has a thing for blonde, kind-of-funny actresses. He moved from Kate Hudson to his current girlfriend, Cameron Diaz, without very much lag time.
This one could be serious, but with recent news that A-Rod may star in Cameron's next movie, this is starting to sound more like a business partnership than a relationship.

10. Hayden Panetierre
It was quite a shock to see that pint-sized actress of Heroes fame, Hayden Panetierre, was dating heavyweight champion boxer Wladimir Klitschko.
Klitschko is 6'6", 250 pounds, while Panetierre is about five feet tall in heels and 100 pounds soaking wet. Don't ask me how they found each other, but the couple seems happy enough.
Still, there are certain...mechanical...issues...that make it hard for me to believe that these two will last.

9. Kim Kardashian
Khloe's married. Kourtney has a baby. Is Kim feeling the pressure to settle down?
Kim and her newest athlete boyfriend, Kris Humphries, are reportedly close to getting married, but is that ever really going to happen?
If you're Kris Humphries, the answer is a resounding "yes." Let's be honest—Humphries will never do better, especially with his Cro-Magnon forehead. Not only that, but Humphries is also putting up career numbers since he started dating Kim.
If you're Kim, you have to weigh the benefits of being with someone you love versus being with someone who plays for the New Jersey Nets. Also, Khole already married a power forward, and a better one at that. Do you really want your brother-in-law destroying your husband in one-on-one in the backyard?
Odds of Marriage: 10 to 1
8. Jessica Simpson
Jessica's last relationship with an athlete was a bit more publicized, but it seems as if this one might be the real thing.
Simpson and former NFL tight end Eric Johnson have been engaged since November 2010, but that's not to say that the big day will actually happen.
Johnson is Yale-educated and Simpson, well, let's just say she isn't exactly Ivy League material. I give the couple decent odds of marriage, as long as they avoid Chicken of the Sea until the wedding.

7. Karina Smirnoff
The Dancing With the Stars vixen has cha-cha'd her way over to journeyman pitcher Brad Penny. The couple is engaged, but we have our doubts about this one.
Penny previously dated Alyssa Milano, so he knows a thing or two about dating celebrities. How this 300-pound monster keeps getting these types of girls will remain a mystery.
They may go through with the marriage, but sooner or later Smirnoff will wake up next to a cup of tobacco juice and think to herself, "what am I doing with my life?" Plus, Brad is known to have quite a temper.

6. Irina Shayk
The world's richest soccer player, Cristiano Ronaldo, can have any woman he wants. From the looks of it, he picked a pretty good one in SI cover model Irina Shayk.
The couple is engaged and wedding plans have been set for this summer in Ronaldo's native Madeira, Spain.
The union would be somewhat doubtful were it not for the recent rumors that Shayk is pregnant with Ronaldo's child. If those rumors are true, it's hard to imagine Ronaldo dumping his baby mama before the wedding.

5. Noureen DeWulf
DeWulf and star Buffalo Sabres goalie Ryan Miller were engaged in late 2010, and all signs point to a steady couple.
Miller, the goalie for team USA, allowed Sidney Crosby's game-winner in the gold medal game of the 2010 Winter Olympics, but he didn't carry it over into his relationship.
Similarly, DeWulf didn't let her roles in horrible movies like Ghosts of Girlfriends Past thrust her into a spiral of depression.
If these two can learn to keep their professional and personal lives separate, they may just make it to their wedding day.

4. Maria Sharapova
Maria Sharapova got engaged to "basketball" player Sasha Vujacic last October, so that's a pretty good reason to think she'll get married soon, right?
Not exactly. Sharapova recently said that she's in no rush to get married. At this stage shouldn't she be holding her breath waiting for the big day?
If you ask me, all the signs are there for a runaway bride. Plus if she does start to run, you know Sasha will take four steps after her, pull up lame, and complain to the closest referee.

3. Nicole Scherzinger
When girls are looking to date high-profile athletes to get headlines, they usually steer clear of Formula 1 racing.
That's why it's hard to think that Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and F1 racer Lewis Hamilton's romance isn't the real deal. She even put the promotional tour for her album on hold to join him in Australia.
The only red flag is the age difference: Scherzinger is 32, while Hamilton is a ripe 26. This could mean that she's getting ready to settle down while he's still looking to have a good time.
I guess if it can work for Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey, it can work for anyone.

2. Elisha Cuthbert
Canadian Elisha Cuthbert loves the hockey players, and it appears she may have found her match with Toronto Maple Leafs captain Dion Phaneuf.
The couple has been dating since 2008, and, while there is no ring in the equation yet, that's a long time to be with someone who you're not going to marry.
Cuthbert has been out of the Hollywood spotlight for a while, and hockey players are never in the spotlight outside of Canada to begin with, so I give this couple a pretty good chance of making it to the altar.
That is, unless Sean Avery bursts out of the audience during the "any objections" portion.
Odds of Marriage: 3 to 1

1. Minka Kelly
Minka Kelly has been engaged to Derek Jeter for over a year now and they're still not married, so that could sound some alarm bells.
However, Jeter was famously called out by Hank Steinbrenner for focusing on "building mansions" rather than winning last season, so it's possible that he's just holding off on the marriage talk until the offseason.
Despite Jeter's infamous history with women, it's pretty clear that the Captain is ready to settle down with Kelly.
Besides, if Jeter called off the wedding at this point, it might ruin his saintly image in the city of New York and end his chances of running for mayor after retirement.
