Short answer: probably not.

But with Keith Williams taking over for Mike Huff at LG, wouldn’t this week be a good time to increase the workload of Roy Helu?

Not only will it take Missouri by surprise, but if Helu has early success, it will set the table for a more balanced, time-killing offense.

The Huskers cannot afford to get into a shootout with Missouri. While I have confidence in Joe Ganz to put up points, the Missouri offense must stay off the field and not get in sync if the Huskers are to win.

This means something has to change. While Marlon Lucky deserves his share of touches, we can’t help but admire the quickness, the burst, and the 6.1 yards per carry that Roy Helu brings to the table.

While it is easy to second-guess Pelini and staff, something tells me Helu will get more carries this week in an effort to shake things up.
