The hard part is over. I was expecting Game 2 to be a wash before it even started. CC Sabathia has been nothing short of dominant since coming to the National League and I figured the Phillies didn't have a chance. It's a good thing they won Game 1, I thought. No shame in heading to Milwaukee with a split.

Apparently I had underestimated my Fightin's once again. They beat the feared CC and now I'm convinced that this series is in the bag. Bring on the NLCS!

So let's analyze the concerns I brought up in my previous article.

1. Brad Lidge: What was I so worried about? Coming in to get the save for a second day in a row, Lidge faced three batters and got three outs. Mitch who?

2. Brett Myers: Question answered. He could've been Rick Vaughn or Nuke LaLoosh, but instead he turned out to be more like Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez. Perhaps Billy Chapel? (These are baseball movie references, people!)

3. The rest of the starting rotation: Remains to be seen.

4. The offense: Still a concern! The Phils' 3-4-5 hitters went a combined 0 for 10 in game two and are now only 1 for 17 in the first two games. We can't count on Shane Victorino hitting a grand slam in every game. Our big guns have to step it up.

Until Game 3...Let's go Phils!!!
