TNA: Three Possible Ways Sheik Abdul Bashir Can Return

Charlie GSenior Writer IMarch 27, 2011

There have been rumors that a former X Division Champion and former WWE Superstar have re-signed with TNA Wrestling.

The rumors were confirmed and the man was revealed to be Shawn Daivari. Known as Sheik Abdul Bashir in TNA.

So what can we expect from Bashir's return? I'm not exactly one hundred percent sure but I can take a guess, right?

So without further ado, here are three possible ways Bashir can return to TNA:

1.) Attack X Division Champion, Kazarian and insert himself into the title hunt

Think about it. Kazarian can be celebrating a victory and out comes the returning Bashir! If Bashir does that he would definitely grab Kazarian's attention and possibly grab a number one contender spot.

This is unlikely to happen since Fortune, Kazarian included, looks like they will compete in the Lethal Lockdown match come Lockdown.

But doing so would make Bashir an enemy of Fortune and a possible ally of Immortal.

2.) Be chosen by Hogan and Bischoff and join Immortal

Last time I checked Immortal has been talking about "taking over TNA." Bischoff wants all the gold but there's one problem. He has no X Division athletes in his faction, Immortal!

Immortal consists of Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Jeff Jarrett, Abyss, Bully Ray, Matt Hardy, Rob Terry, Ric Flair, Gunner and Murphy.

Can you imagine any one of those guys being X Division champion? Hell no! That's why Bashir would be a good fit in Immortal. He's a good heel and can draw a lot of heat and can help Immortal complete their goal of "capture all the gold."

3.) Reunite the World Elite

Does anybody remember World Elite? If you don't it might be because they lived in the Main Event Mafia's shadow.

Now, this might not be the best idea but it'll be cool.

Bashir can have Eric Young turn heel again and reform this stable. World Elite had Eric Young (leader), Sheik Abdul Bashir, Magnus, Douglas Williams, Rob Terry and Kiyoshi.

Now Kiyoshi is out of TNA but he didn't play such a big role in the stable. Rob Terry is in Immortal and he wasn't a big factor in the group either.

TNA should round up Eric Young, Bashir, Magnus and Williams and start fresh.

This wouldn't be a good idea because TNA is overflowing with factions and stables at the moment. There's Fortune, Immortal and Mexican America.

I don't really know how TNA is going to bring Bashir back. All three ideas I listed are possible but which will it be? If it is any of them. It should be interesting to see how and when TNA brings Bashir back. Welcome back Sheik!
