The NCAA Tournament is looking to finish with a bang.
We started the tournament with 68 teams, but after today we will be down to the Final Four. We have experienced plenty of upsets, a handful of buzzer-beaters and a few memorable performances.
We already have two of our Final Four with both Butler and UConn locking up spots yesterday, but who will their opponents be?
One spot is up for grabs in the game between the surprise of the tournament VCU and the only remaining No. 1 seed Kansas. Can the Rams shock the Jayhawks, or will we finally have a game with a predictable finish?
On the other side of the bracket, we have John Calipari’s Kentucky Wildcats taking on Roy William’s North Carolina’s Tar Heels. Will the Wildcats’ young stars be able to match the Tar Heels frontcourt? Or will Harrison Barnes, John Henson and Tyler Zeller repeat their performance from the Sweet 16?
No matter which teams we have in the Final Four, I we are guaranteed a great pair of games with both Butler and UConn involved.
It’s hard to believe that of last year’s Final Four, Butler would be the one team to appear for a second straight year. The Bulldogs had to replace two of their five starters, but somehow they made it back. What are their chances to win it all this year?
Stay tuned here to get up-to-the-minute updates on today’s slate of games and a preliminary look at the Final Four.
