WWE: McMahon Informs Writers to Prepare for The Rock's In-Ring Return

Bryan FloryAnalyst IMarch 25, 2011

Available exclusively on Wrestlezone.com, it is being reported that Vince McMahon and Stephanie McMahon-Levesque have informed key members of the WWE Creative staff that the Rock will be making a return to the ring sooner rather than later.

Multiple articles have stated that the Rock and John Cena have both expressed interest in interviews for a future match, but this is the first actual word from the Boss himself.

The report further states that McMahon and insiders would have liked to have inserted the Rock into the Cena/Miz match at WrestleMania, but they want this to be a more impactful return than that of Bret Hart and other flash-in-the-pan returns.

The unnamed insider also goes on to explain that they believe that SummerSlam is "right on target" for a the proper build up and return, while also throwing in WrestleMania 28 as a possibility.

Finally, the Rock, has come back, to the ring (Hopefully)!

More to come on Creative's ideas as they are leaked.
