I took you through the first five hours of 2011's March Madness last Thursday, considered by many—myself included—to be the best afternoon of college basketball in recent memory.
Since then the field has whittled down to 16 teams. Blue-bloods like Duke, Kansas and Kentucky remain, as well as multiple Cinderellas, headlined by the pride of Richmond, Va., the Rams of VCU and Spiders of RU.
Sweet 16 action kicks off with San Diego State and Connecticut at 7:15 p.m. ET, followed shortly by BYU and Florida at 7:27 p.m.
The marquee matchup of the night is a rematch of the 2001 title game—fifth-seeded Arizona versus top-seeded Duke—and will follow the game between the Aztecs and Kemba Walker's Huskies.
Tonight's action ends with 2010 national runner-up Butler versus the Badgers of Wisconsin.
