Dez Bryant did what many obnoxious teenagers have even been unable to do for the most part. He was given a criminal trespass warning and ejected from an upscale mall.

Bryant and some of his friends were cited and ejected from the mall by an off-duty police officer for refusing to pull up his sagging pants.

A police statement said that Bryant and three friends were involved in an incident at NorthPark Center where security asked them to pull their pants up because their underwear was showing. Yet Bryant said that his underwear was not showing.

Now Bryant was not actually arrested. He did not commit any crime or violate any law, but he was simply issued the warning for failing to comply with a police request. This is highly unlikely to bring any discipline upon Bryant by league commissioner Roger Goodell.

So I guess now we know. If a cop asks you pull up your pants, you had better heed the advice and request.

If not, you may get kicked out of a mall.

Bryant did not consider it a big deal, and went on to make a joke of the incident on his Twitter account, saying "Headed to North Park tomorrow to get these Lebrons....I am not banned from North park lol."

Calvin Watkins of ESPN Dallas reported that WFAA-TV in Dallas said that Bryant was banned from the mall for three months, but his adviser, David Wells, said, "That's not true. I was there; it didn't happen."

Watkins also wrote that "Bryant has a history of problems at the mall, according to the police report, including an incident at a store where police had to intervene after the wide receiver cut in line and a parking citation for parking in the fire lane. Bryant was also involved in a "major disturbance" at one of the mall's restaurants with an unknown woman. Police were called, but both Bryant and the woman were gone before they arrived."

Hey, Dez. Here is some solid advice for you. Stay out of malls. Things don't end well for you when you go there, so whip out that trusty credit card that paid for your whole team's dinner last season and do what everyone else does nowadays.

Shop from home.

You don't even have to be in your underwear for that luxury.
