The 20 Hottest Fans in the Stands

0 of 21

With March Madness in full swing, we are once again reminded of the drama and excitement that comes with the NCAA Tournament.

Buzzer-beaters. Overtime thrillers. Huge momentum swings. Gus Johnson, screaming into the night.

It really is the most wonderful time of the year.

But we are also reminded that the stands are full of beautiful women. Women who are pretty as a no-look pass, stunning as a reverse layup and pure as a pull-up jumper.

Well, maybe not that last part.

So, in honor of the smoking hot women gracing the stands during the NCAA Tournament, I've compiled 20 of the most gorgeous women ever to be seen cheering for their team.

Some you will recognize, and some you won't.

No matter. You will most certainly be a fan of them all.

20. New Mexico State Fans

See parents, college isn't just about basketball games, partying, random hook-ups, partying, football games and, of course, partying.

College is also about enlightening oneself and training for a career.

As evidenced by these girls from New Mexico State—seen displaying their excellent spelling skills—education really is paramount.

19. Morehead State Fan

2 of 21

You know, Morehead State Girl, based on your t-shirt, I think we might have a lot in common.

Whoa, wait a second guys, all I'm saying is, I picked Morehead State to beat Louisville, and I love them too because they helped my bracket. Jeez, what did you think I meant?

Also, who else thinks that is Steve Carell on the left?

18. Princeton Fan

Alright, it's time to play, "Why is she making this face?"

    - "Whoa, this is like that dream where I only leave the house in my bra. It's amazing that nobody minds, though, so many men have been really friendly today. I'm so awesome."

    - "Oh man, Kentucky just did something that once again established their obvious athletic superiority in this game."

    - "Hey Mom! No, I'm not cold. Yes, I'm having fun with my friends. No, Mom, I haven't drank too much. In the past five minutes. Love you too!"

17. Illinois Cheerleader

Even though I have never rooted for Illinois in my life, I am really upset that they were recently eliminated.

Sad for the players and fans, I mean. It obviously has nothing to do with this picture.

    I'm not a good liar, am I?

16. Kansas Fan

    H/T: Frat House Sports

On second thought, I'm happy that Kansas defeated Illinois and will be continuing on in the tournament.

Happy for their fans and players, I mean.

15. Ashley Judd

6 of 21

Truthfully, I am probably aware of Ashley Judd more because she is Kentucky's biggest fan, and less for anything she has done in her career.

Such is the life of a sports geek.

But here's to hoping that Kentucky keeps winning, Judd keeps rooting, and the camera men keep getting distracted and veering into the stands, hoping for a Judd sighting.

She is seriously like the Moby Dick of Kentucky broadcasts at this point.

I can imagine the producer now, annoyed with one particularly-distracted camera man. "Darn it Ahab, focus on the game. THE GAME!"

Wait—did I just reference Moby Dick on Bleacher Report? What am I, a nerd or something?

14. Kim Kardashian

I'm fairly certain that Kim Kardashian just really loves sports.

After all, she dated NFL stars Reggie Bush and Miles Austin, and is currently dating NBA player Kris Humphries.

Listen, Kim, I played football in high school, and I was an excellent Mario Kart and beer pong player in college. Plus, I don't own a video camera and barely know how to work the darn things.

I know, I know, I seem too good to be true, but you'll see that I'm just a regular guy. Let's give us a try.

13. Brooklyn Decker

8 of 21

The lovely Brooklyn Decker is married to Andy Roddick and is often seen in the stands at his matches.

And now, my part of the conversation with most male sports fans after the above sentence:

"What do you mean, who is Andy Roddick? Dude, he's the tennis player. Oh c'mon, you must have watched at least one tennis match in your life, right?"

"Oh, only when Maria Sharapova is playing, huh?"

12. Carrie Underwood

9 of 21

And thus begins the Tony Romo portion of our slideshow. Hooray!

Carrie Underwood won American Idol  in 2005, has earned multiple Grammys in a highly-accomplished music career, and made waves in 2007 when it was rumored that she was dating Romo, which he later confirmed.

    Hey, two-out-of-three isn't bad, Carrie.

11. Jessica Simpson

10 of 21

Tony Romo and his ladies, part two. Here, Tony and Jess ponder why he can't win the big game.

Actually, only Tony is curious about that—Jess is trying to remember where she put her career. She has been looking for it since Newlyweds.

Maybe she put it in the cupboard, next to the tuna fish.

10. Candice Crawford

11 of 21

Tony Romo and his ladies, part three. Now, Romo seems downright disgruntled that he has never won anything in his career.

Cheer up, Tony. You're engaged to the gorgeous Candice Crawford, the 2008 Miss Missouri USA.

Frankly, I'm jealous of you. So jealous, I feel now would be a good time to remind you that you constantly come up short in the clutch.

Nonetheless, the score after three slides:

    Tony - 3

    Tim - 0

Cute Pink Jacket

12 of 21

Wait a minute—that's not a woman, that's Craig Sager wearing a bright pink jacket.

    Really, Craig? On national television?

    Weak sauce.

9. USC Fans

13 of 21

Sure, you were banned from postseason play for two years, lost 30 football scholarships, were forced to forfeit your 2005 National Championship and told to completely disassociate with Reggie Bush, who was stripped of his 2005 Heisman Trophy.

Sure, your wildly-popular and successful coach, Pete Carroll, bolted just before the sanctions were handed down, leaving you with Lane Kiffin.

    Man, that sucks.

But, in the immortal words of the Beach Boys, "I wish they all could be California Girls."

So you've got that going for you, USC.

8. Italy Fan

And now begins the 2010 World Cup segment of the slideshow.

We begin with this Italian fan, though the picture is almost spoiled by the guy sitting right in front of her, who is staring at the camera like, "Why are you taking my picture?"

Uh, not taking your picture, pal. We are a bit more interested in the beautiful girl behind you who loves watercolors and patriotic capes, thank you very much.

7. Australia Fans

Who knew Aussies were so saucy?

    (Insert groan here.)

But seriously, fellow Americans, female soccer fans are hot, passionate and show their support by wearing sexy—and often skimpy—team apparel.

    Soccer has its perks.

6. Larissa Riquelme

    Photo: Norberto Duarte/AFP/Getty Images

This photo became wildly popular during the 2010 World Cup. I can't imagine why.

Maybe it's because people love to play one of my favorite games, "What is she about to yell next?"

    - Where did I put my cell phone? I swear, I'm always misplacing this thing!

    - Would something please happen? GOD, soccer is boring!

    - No, I won't accept the charges. Who calls collect anymore? Unbelievable!

    - Dude! The game is happening behind you, stop staring at me!

5. Eva Longoria

17 of 21

    Noel Vasquez/Getty Images

Oh, Eva. Why did you waste all of those years with that cheating, no-good scoundrel. Why did you sit through such a boring brand of basketball just to support him?

I've gotta say, I don't get Tony Parker one bit. Who cheats on Eva Longoria? Is his life so awesome that he has women this gorgeous dying to be with him, night and day?

I find that hard to believe. I also find it to be extremely unfair if that is the case.

I choose to believe that Tony Parker is simply an idiot.

4. Alyssa Milano

18 of 21

Alyssa Milano is straight-up cool. For one, she is a huge baseball fan. Here is a recent tweet. (@Alyssa_Milano):

"I can't wait to take my baby boy to a game with my brother and dad. I get weepy just thinking about it."

I wish it was #Phillies, but nonetheless, I think I love you, Alyssa.

Oh, and the longtime Dodgers season-ticket holder designed the Alyssa Milano Touch Collection, a line of MLB-themed clothing for women.

I know I love you, Alyssa.

3. Jessica Alba

19 of 21

What you know: Jessica Alba is a knockout.

What you may not know: She is a pretty big basketball fan. She has been spotted at Warriors, Lakers and even Clippers games.

Wait, the Clippers? Good grief, she must really love basketball.

With that in mind, I've come up with a movie pitch: Love and Basketball Two, starring Jessica Alba and Timothy Rapp.

Watch as they go to basketball games together, take off their clothes during games of strip basketball and live happily together off of Alba's earnings.

    This needs to happen.

2. Best Row to Sit in Ever

20 of 21

    Jamie Squire/Getty Images

Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Gisele Bundchen, all in one row.

Here is me if I'm sitting in that row:

"Wait, what's the score? It's the fourth quarter already? Jeez, I haven't looked at the court once. God, I love Brazil. You're cool too, Germany, but Brazil has really outdone itself."

This row has its ties to the sports world, as well. Lima is married to the ex-NBA and current Serbian professional basketball player, Marko Jaric.

And of course, Gisele is married to Tom Brady.

1. Jenn Sterger

21 of 21

I just want you to know, Jenn, that I would text you sweet messages, such as "How is your day going?" or "Can't wait to see you tonight."

I would treat you like a lady, Jenn. I would show you some respect, rather than show you, well, you know...

To clarify, Jenn gets the number one spot because she is the ultimate example of a beautiful woman being discovered in the stands during a broadcast.

In 2005 during a Miami-Florida State game, the camera panned over to Sterger cheering in the stands. Brent Musberger remarked, "Fifteen-hundred red-blooded Americans just decided to apply to Florida State."

    You got that right, Brent.

    You're a jerk, Brett.

Hope you are having a good day, Jenn.
