2011 NFL Mock Draft: Chicago Bears: 29. Derek Sherrod, OT, Mississippi State
The Bears will take whichever offensive lineman they can get their paws on here after struggling to protect Jay Cutler all season. Sherrod is the best one available and, though he's not quite in the same class as the Smith's and Castonzo's of the word, he projects as a capable starter.
If Sherrod is gone then Chicago could wait until the second round to upgrade their line and focus on another need: cornerback. Both Aaron Williams and Brandon Harris should be available here.
