While Sully is probably a dark-horse candidate for Player of the Year, Matta may be the frontrunner for the coaching hardware, steering the No. 1 ranked Buckeyes to a 34-2 record, while winning both the Big Ten regular season and tournament titles after losing national player of the year Evan Turner.
It would be great to see Matta capture this prestigious award.
