NFL Mock Drafts are in season. The only problem is that they do little to brighten the cloud of an ugly labor dispute that is threatening to prevent these players from playing in their first NFL season in 2011.

However, we aren’t here to dwell on the bad but instead we are here to fuel optimism that the draft can provide.

This year we have an incredible amount of defensive line talent with the likes of Da’Quan Bowers and Nick Fairley, but there is plenty of talent at other positions too.

The two most interesting prospects to pay attention to are quarterbacks Blaine Gabbert and Cam Newton. Both guys can be rather polarizing but with many teams in need of quarterbacks I don’t expect them to drop too far. However, the real quarterback prize, Andrew Luck, isn’t even in this draft. It will be interesting to see who picks a quarterback knowing that they could potentially get a better one next year.

Overall, I know the NFL is a sad discussion right now because of the lockout, but it is still really fun to speculate.

So stay tuned here for the entire draft pick to pick and let us know what you think.
