The table has been set: Caroline Wozniacki will play against Marion Bartoli in Indian Wells for the BNP Paribas Open championship.

The world's No. 1 took Maria Sharapova to task with a dominating 6-1, 6-2 win in the semifinals. Marion Bartoli disposed of Yanina Wickmayer with another decisive 6-1, 6-3 win.

Now to take a look at the history between Wozniacki and Bartoli in past WTA action.

Wozniacki is ranked No. 1, Bartoli ranked No. 15. The two have only met each other six times in the past with the score in Wozniacki's favour, 4-2.

The first time they met was in 2008 at the Qatar Total Open. Wozniacki took the game with a 6-2, 6-3 win. The next two meetings were also all Wozniacki. She beat Bartoli at the Sony Ericsson Open (6-3, 6-1) and New Haven's Pilot Pen Tennis (6-4, 6-0).

Bartoli finally gained a win against Wozniacki in the 2009 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, Germany. She squeezed out a 7-6 (6), 6-4 win. Must have helped her ego because at the next meeting, she beat Wozniacki 6-4, 6-1 in the round of 16 in Cincinnati.

They've only met once so far in 2011. In the semifinals of the Qatar Total Open, Wozniacki took the win with a 6-1, 6-1 easy match.

Take what you will from these head-to-head stats.
