After the first four games earlier in the week, the NCAA tournament kicked off in earnest Thursday.

And judging at least by the morning and afternoon sessions, what an entrance it made.

We had buzzer-beaters, last-second game-winners, two upsets and a couple of near-upsets on our way to a fantastic Thursday. The evening and primetime sessions held more to form, but there were some fascinating moments despite that.

There was Jimmer Fredette dominating the spotlight in BYU's win to advance to the Round of 32. There was Kemba Walker holding serve with his own show as Connecticut rolled against Bucknell. And then there were the UCLA Bruins desperately holding on against Michigan State as the Spartans almost erased a 23-point deficit in one of the last games of the night.

Today is expected to be another exciting day of action with three of the four No. 1 seeds in action, including the Duke Blue Devils, who are expected to get Kyrie Irving back today for their first tournament game.

So with that in mind, this is the place for all the latest news, recaps, updates and predictions as we head into the second day of the Round of 64.
