Jake Delhomme....or as Boomer would say, "Jake, daylight come, and you got a Delhomme," had a field day on Sunday afternoon against division rival Atlanta. Despite Ed Hochuli making another bad call, the Panthers devoured Atlanta 24-9 in Charlotte.

Delhomme threw 20-29 for 294 yards and two touchdowns with a quarterback rating of 124.8. The two touchdowns went to Steve Smith and Muhsin Muhammad, or "Moose," as they call him. The two combined 16 catches for 243 receiving yards on the afternoon.

Jonathan Stewart and Deangelo Williams combined for 109 yards, and Stewart stormed into the endzone for a rookie-leading fourth touchdown. On the defensive side, the Panthers limited the NFL leading rusher Michael Turner to 56 yards and no touchdowns.

The Panthers are tied with the Bucs at the top of the NFC South at 3-1. Next week, the Panthers host the Kansas City Chiefs (1-3) at 1 p.m. at Bank of America Stadium.
