Well it won't be the final time these two meet in Dallas, but this was the last meeting between the Washington Redskins and the Dallas Cowboys at Texas Stadium.
Unfortunately for the evil empire, their last home game in that dump of a stadium was a loss to their most hated rival. The Skins proved to be the alpha male on a hot afternoon in Texas, topping the Cowboys 26-24.
After jumping out to a 17-7 advantage, the Cowboys stormed back to tie the game at 17 apiece. The Skins refused to let down, driving down the field, but Dallas only surrendered three second-half field goals.
Tony Romo and the Cowboys abandoned their running game and solely relied on Terrell Owens, who was only able to get into the end zone once. Jason Campbell, on the other hand utilized his receivers and Clinton Portis. Portis rushed for 121 yards and Campbell threw two touchdowns to shock the fans in Big D.
The Skins have another test in Philadelphia next week as they face the 2-2 Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field. The Cowboys stay at home to face the Bengals. Skins kickoff at 1 p.m. and the Boys kickoff at 4 p.m.
Skins 1, Cowboys 0!
