The lockout is soul-draining—there is no other way to put it. When you have to write about the NFL as part of your job, the lockout just saps your energy from the moment you sit down to write the first word.
This is not meant to be a complaint or an attempt to garner sympathy. It simply is acknowledging the elephant in the room. No matter what I say, the players still think they are entitled to whatever they want, failing to realize the owners run the business and they are the ones who are entitled to run their business any way they want.
